“Tracing the Footprints of Industrial Heritage, Developing New Quality Productivity”——Joint activity of Neostar United and China Democratic National Construction Association

On November 2, 2024, the sunshine swept away the wind, rain and haze of the previous two days, kicking off our meaningful journey of remembrance. This activity was co-organized by Neostar United and 12th Branch of China Democratic National Construction Association, aiming at tracing the footprints of industrial heritage, developing new quality productivity, entering TianHong 1921 Creative Park, and remembering the baptism of the heart and spiritual inheritance under the footprints of the industry.......
At the beginning of the activity, the staff representatives of the Neostar United and members of the 12th Branch of China Democratic National Construction Association embarked on this tour of industrial sites with reverence. The remaining cylindrical brick water tower in the factory, overall torch-shaped, about 20 meters high, is the only remaining torch-shaped brick water tower in ChangZhou during the Republican period. On the water tower, Chinese traditional “Da Ming Chang” characters are mottled but vaguely visible, the tower on the red brick, a clump of weeds in the wind at will. The narrator said that the water tower was abandoned in the 1990s after ChangZhou banned the exploitation of groundwater, but it was a witness of the times, so it was eventually preserved. Here, the“Da Ming Chang Republican Period Building Complex”built in the Republican Period is still well-preserved, and there are still six original buildings, including offices, dormitories, conference rooms, hospitality restaurants, etc., all of which are the Republican Period buildings with a floor area of about 1,300 square meters. The wall of the kindergarten for the children of the employees of the Four Factory still retains the children's paintings and childishness at that time, and some of our colleagues happened to have gone to kindergarten here, and these traces immediately brought them back to their childhood days....... “ People are not old-hearted, and always run with the Party” When entering Mr. Liu Guojun's office, looking at these desks and chairs full of memories of the years, we seemed to see Mr. Liu Guojun's busy figure for the revival of the national industry. We can feel the deep patriotic love for the Party and the power of hard work and progress from between the lines.
After the visit, representatives from Neostar United and members of the 12th branch of the China Association for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong discussed and imagined ways to protect industrial heritage and develop new quality productivity.Regarding the inheritance and protection of industrial heritage, how to promote the development of new quality productivity, and the integration of industrial heritage and new quality productivity, everyone actively spoke up.
Through this activity, everyone not only gained historical knowledge and insights, but also received spiritual baptism and sublimation. As entrepreneurs or laborers in the new era, we should internalize Mr. Liu Guojun's patriotism in our hearts and externalize it in our actions, and contribute our youthful strength to the realization of the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Everyone expressed their intention to transform the gains of this practical activity into a driving force for practical actions, to think about new quality productivity, and to safeguard the prosperous era of development.
